SpinVox, the world expert in Voice-to-ScreenTM messaging, today announced the launch of Voice-to-ScreenTM messaging services for BlackBerry at Research in Motion’s (RIM) Wireless Enterprise Symposium 2007 in Orlando (8th – 11th May). With SpinVox, BlackBerry® users will now be able to receive all their voicemail messages as email direct on their BlackBerry smartphone, allowing them to see who called, what they said and mail a Quick Reply. Uniquely, SpinVox converts any caller’s voicemail into text - powered by the SpinVox patented Voice Message Conversion SystemTM - delivering a new type of email for BlackBerry users. Importantly, through a feature specially developed for the BlackBerry solution, SpinVox will ensure that the inbound caller number links up with the user’s address book to present the caller name, and consequently the ability to reply directly by email as well as calling or sending an SMS. “The BlackBerry solution makes staying in touch with email simple and SpinVox extends this to the next most important type of mail – voicemail”, says Christina Domecq, CEO and co- founder, SpinVox. “Now staying in touch with voicemails - whether from the office, home or your mobile - is simple and natural. You won’t want to be without SpinVox and a BlackBerry smartphone.” The launch comes after RIM executives trialled the SpinVox Voice-to-Screen product on their own BlackBerry smartphones and immediately saw the benefits of receiving their voice messages converted to email. Users of the BlackBerry solution around the globe will also benefit from the SpinVox multi- language service which is currently available in English, Spanish, French and German, with further languages in development.
