Talk your text
SpinVox customers already know that reading your voicemails as texts is smarter and quicker. Now thanks to VoxLinks, a new simpler way of responding to any SpinVox message is just one click away. Because when you get a converted message, you can talk a text reply back.
Not only is your tongue seven times faster than your thumb, talking a text means you can speak freely and say what you really mean. Rather than CU L8R and a :-).
And talking a message that can be read is much more convenient when the person receiving it is busy or on the move. Not to mention more discreet - messages can be read in situations where listening to voicemail really isn't an option – in a business meeting, a restaurant, etc.
"It's great when you're walking and texting. Before, I'd personally ruined a couple of lamp posts"
"It's perfect when I've just painted my nails"
"It's so much quicker. I'm rubbish at texting"
"What's a VoxLink?"
Here's how it works. When you read a SpinVox voicemail message, you'll notice two links at the bottom. These are called VoxLinks.
To talk a text reply, you just click the ‘Reply' VoxLink beneath the message. When your friend gets that message, they can click 'Reply' and talk a text right back to you. And so on, until the cows come home. It won't cost them anything, apart from their standard network call charges.
If you ever want to listen to your voicemail messages in all their glory, that's easier now too. Just click the ‘Listen' VoxLink and go straight to them. No need to dial anything.
Your screen will now look like this.
"So ho do I...?"

Sometimes I don't get a VoxLinks Reply link in my messages, why?
We only put the VoxLinks Reply in your message if we know it came from a mobile/cell phone. The exception is North America, where we can't tell whether the caller is calling from a cell/mobile, so we've decided to always put VoxLinks Reply in the context of the converted message.
-
I always see a VoxLinks Reply, but not everyone sees my replies, why?
If you're based in North America we can't tell whether the person that left you a text message is using a cell phone or a wire-line phone. So, we always put the VoxLinks Reply in your converted message.
